Considering the key role of the EU Green Agenda for the Western Balkan (GAWB), it is evident that urgent action is required for advancing its implementation and prioritizing green investments as foundational elements meeting its objectives. The meeting will focus on optimizing EU pre-accession assistance programs to boost green investments in the EU candidate countries, identifying priorities, and undertaking measures to improve the effectiveness of using pre-accession funds. The challenges faced in recent years related to implementing green infrastructure will also be addressed, and valuable learned lessons and best practices will be shared by the participants.
