The Institute for Good Governance and Policies in Environment and Climate Change (IPECC) has begun the implementation of a new regional project aimed at enhancing the preparedness of the Western Balkans 6 (WB6) countries to plan, access, and effectively utilise future European Union financial instruments.

The project focuses on advancing sustainable financing for green infrastructure by strengthening administrative capacities, improving strategic planning, and fostering regional cooperation in the context of the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans and the EU accession process.

Within the framework of the project, a Policy Document and a Roadmap will be developed, providing concrete recommendations for better alignment of national priorities with the EU’s post-2027 financial perspective.

Through this project, IPECC continues to reinforce its mission to support good governance, transparency, and sustainable development by connecting civil society, national institutions, and European policies in support of the region’s successful European integration.

The project is implemented by IPECC with the support of the Open Society Foundation – Western Balkans, within the framework of the Ignita initiative, and contributes to transparent, inclusive, and evidence-based policy-making in the field of green investments and European integration in the Western Balkans.
